Have you read any books which you would like to recommend to others or
just tell us about? It might be a book which you thought you’d like and then
found you didn’t or that others say is brilliant and you have a different point
of view. Who took part in this summers’ Reading Relay? Could you tell us about
some of the books you read? What about picture books? Are there any
illustrators/illustrations you have comments on? We would like to hear from
reviewers of all ages. Please send your reviews/pictures to me.
On the subject of reviews and reviewers, we are looking for a members
who would volunteer to review books, we can use the same categories as
Children’s Book Award, Picture Book, Shorter Novel and Longer Novel. If we can
get a number of volunteers, we will then approach publishers to request review
copies. Reviews will appear in our newsletter and the books, if appropriate,
will be collected and donated, as we have done in the past, to charitable
organisations. If you can help with this please contact me.
